Installation Guide

Existing setup guidance for SLINKOR mounts, cables and adapters, power products and travel accessories.

Before You Begin

Confirm the Starlink model and product compatibility before setup. Use the product-specific information supplied with the accessory and do not force, modify or use a component outside its intended application.

1. Mounts

Surface preparation

Before installing a vehicle mount, make sure the mounting surface is clean, dry and stable. Dust, water, oil or curved surfaces may reduce mounting stability.

Before driving

Always check the mount, fixing points and connected accessories before driving. Remove or secure the setup if road conditions, speed, wind or vibration may affect stability.

Safety note

SLINKOR mounting accessories should be used according to the product design and installation environment. Do not modify the mount or use it on unsuitable surfaces.

2. Cables & Adapters

Check connector direction

Before connecting a cable or adapter, check the connector direction and product compatibility. Do not force a connector into place.

Cable routing

Avoid sharp bends, heavy pressure, pulling force or repeated friction on cables. Keep cables organized and away from areas where they may be pinched or damaged.

3. Power

Power rating

For power-related accessories, check the product specifications and make sure the power source matches the accessory requirements before use.

Connections and cable condition

Check connector direction before use and do not force a connection. Keep power cables away from sharp bends, heavy pressure, repeated friction and areas where they may be pinched.

4. Accessories

Placement tips

Place your Starlink device in an open area with a clear view of the sky. Avoid placing the device near tall buildings, dense trees, metal covers or other objects that may block the signal.

Outdoor use

When using accessories outdoors, check that the setup is stable and protected from unnecessary movement, impact or cable tension.

Packing your device

Place the dish, router, cables and accessories into separate compartments when possible. This helps reduce movement and contact during transport.

Before travel and storage

Make sure zippers, handles and straps are properly closed and secured before carrying or storing your travel case. Store accessories in a clean, dry place and avoid long-term exposure to heavy pressure, moisture or extreme heat.
